The Founders
Rene and Dan Halberg
Dan and Rene Halberg met in December of 2010. First date on January 18th, 2011. Instantly connected, been together continually since that first date. Married on January 18th, 2014. They have a blended family of six children. Dan and Rene live in Upper Michigan, just six miles over the mighty Mac Bridge.
As of March 2025, five of their children, including six grandchildren live in northern Michigan. One child, son Bradley ascended into heaven on May 31, 2022.
Honeycomb ministries was conceived in April of 2022, when the Holy Spirit woke Rene one morning telling her, he was giving her a ministry. That she would be a part of a ministry. A ministry of God’s sweetness. However, Honeycomb was not birthed until fall of 2024.
